STEMstruction Day Information
Participants will:
- Learn basic elements of various construction trades
- Develop a safety-first mindset
- Grow self-confidence that can be applied to many aspects of life
Seasoned mentors in the construction industry and McCarthy role models will guide attendees through sample projects. Participants will learn to work together and effectively communicate with peers and mentors to successfully complete the projects.
Please wear a t-shirt, long pants and hard-sole shoes – no open-toed shoes or sandals! Tennis shoes are acceptable. If you have long hair, please pull it back into a ponytail. We’ll provide all other personal protective equipment for your use at the event.
